On Saturday, July 22, 2017, in North Lawrence, Ohio – The legal team at Kisling, Nestico & Redick geared up and participated in Ohio’s 2017 Warrior Dash, which has reinvented the typical 5K obstacle course race with more than 3 million competitors since 2009.
KNR joined the ranks of fellow Warrior Dash participants in this organization’s novel approach to promote physical fitness while fundraising for the patients at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. These funds will benefit St Jude’s Proton Therapy Center, which is the most advanced form of radiation technology available to cancer patients because it precisely targets cancerous cells with high doses of radiation while sparing nearby healthy cells and vital organs located beyond the tumor.
As a race that anyone can start and everyone can finish, the Warrior Dash affords elite athletes and beginners alike, the opportunity to face 12 grueling obstacles as they wade through muddy trails towards the finish line. After the race, competitors were presented with medals, t-shirts, a Warrior helmet, and a remarkable post-race party where competitors hung out, danced, and reveled in their achievement over the typical weekend.
The Ohio personal injury attorneys of KNR know a great cause and unique experience when it comes along, but we encouraged everyone involved to stay safe as they trekked through the mud to conquer obstacles in the name of a fantastic charity. Click here to see photos from the event
