Despite a rainy start, the energy at KNR was high as Marketing Coordinator Ciara B. and Receptionist Rachel M. stood ready at the starting line for the 2024 Great Cleveland Heart Walk.
Leading up to the race, KNR raised nearly $2,000 through events like our February Step Up Challenge and last summer’s Penny War Challenge during the KNR Olympics.
The Heart Walk is part of a nationwide effort to support the American Heart Association, which funds lifesaving research to combat heart disease and help people live longer, healthier lives.
To kick off the Great Cleveland Heart Walk, KNR participated in the American Heart Association’s Move More Challenge. Participants earned points by logging their physical activities over four weeks, with a goal of reaching 300 points (or 150 minutes of activity per week).
At the start of the walk, the results were announced, with 39 teams competing. To our delight, Team KNR earned the top spot for both “Top Company” and “Top Team” with an impressive 3,291 points. Additionally, KNR Litigation Team Lead Kim M. ranked fifth overall with 1,221 points!
At KNR, we’re proud to take part in events that bring our community together and support important causes. These races not only encourage health and fitness but also create a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose. We’re looking forward to more opportunities to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
